ARTISTS STUDIO TOUR
The special creative spaces—a backyard gazebo, woodworking shop, well-equipped studio or a corner of the living room or bedroom—where area artists ply their trade are featured in the third annual Artist Studio Tour from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, September 30. Included are the studios of Nancy Backes, Don Crocker, Shoshana Franco, Anita Gerlach, Howard Lewin, Margaret Mohr, Ruby Wang and Jeanne Zaske.
Sponsored by The Artists’ Studio, a cooperative of approximately 70 artists affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center, the self-driven tour costs $20 in advance or $25 the day of the tour. Tickets are available from The Artists’ Studio at the Art Center or The Village, 300C Deep Valley Dr., Rolling Hills Estates, or by calling (310) 265-2592.
Eighteen additional artists will demonstrate their skills and discuss their work at the various studios and on the Art Center patio, where refreshments (included in the ticket price) will be available.
